Mine was starting to leak, and liquid was living in the valley of the engine. This is how I found out mine was leaking: I have a 15 JKU, 2.5" leveling kit, 33s, 3.73s, manual with 38k miles. Could be whatever they use to clean the fluids off the top of the engine, or old coolant. If your temp gauge is showing that it is not over-heating, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
